Mahmoud I. Elaiwat

Education

Mr. Mahmoud Elaiwat is a Senior Consultant in Virginia Institute of Finance and Management (VIFM). Mahmoud holds an MBA from the university of Jordan and B.A degree from Yarmouk University, Jordan. He is a Certified Credit Advisor and Certified Retail Banker. Mahmoud has active professional memberships in the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Experience

During his 20+ years of experience, Mahmoud held senior positions in the banking and financial industry in the Middle East. Before joining VIF, Mahmoud has worked at Bank AL Jazira (K.S.A) as a VP – Head of L&D, He also worked as L&D senior manager at SNB (K.S.A), and Training Section head at Arab Bank (Jordan). Mahmoud was responsible to lead L&D function to transfer the knowledge, and professional skills to BoD, Executives, and all staff to reach their professional and personal goals. He led important projects to build and execute training curriculums of Coaching and Leadership, Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Treasury, IT and Fresh Graduate Programs (FGP). Prior to banking industry and VIF, Mahmoud worked as an instructor at an Intermediate University college in Jordan taught business and economic subjects.

Expertise

Mahmoud experience in L&D gave him the strength to focus on the areas of business consultation and training courses in Leadership Skills, Strategy and Business Planning, Internal Audit, Microsoft Office Skills (MOS) and Data Analytics.
