Aiman Sadeq, the Managing Director of the Virginia Institute of Finance and Management (VIFM), possesses a comprehensive academic background. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Banking, followed by a Master’s in Financial Economics from the prestigious American University in Washington DC. Aiman’s impressive list of professional certifications includes Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), CFA Level 1, and Microsoft Certified Application Specialist.

Experience

With over 24 years of diverse professional experience spanning across the United States and the Middle East, Aiman has held prominent senior management positions in both the academic and corporate sectors. Prior to his current role at VIFM, he served as the Deputy Managing Director of Meirc Training and Consulting. His extensive career includes roles such as Partner and Senior Financial Economist, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Advisory Board Member, Director of Finance, Investment Manager, Financial Controller, Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Accountant, Revenue Accountant, and Stockbroker. Aiman has worked with distinguished international and local corporations, including IBM, American Airlines (AA), Bank of Kuwait and the Middle East (BKME), Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), Sgt. Peppers, Oldelft Corporation of America, Al-Masaleh for Financial Investment, and International Financial Advisors (IFA). His primary focus has been on corporate Financial Management, Treasury Operations, and Business Budgeting and Planning. During his time in the United States, Aiman successfully managed an investment portfolio worth over $400 million for four years, worked with Board Members on Oversight, Compensations, Committees’ Structure, and Technical Competencies. In addition, he has held professorship positions in business, finance, and economics at American University, Southeastern University, and Northern Virginia Community College, teaching MBA level finance and investment courses.
